July 2012 - Honeymoon - Final Days: London

---------------
Now, where were we... We have just visited Versailles and are now on the Eurostar on the way to London. At the train station, the lines are long and I worry if we will make our train. We do, but only just! Then, it is smooth sailing (or training) onwards to London!

In London, we are crashing with family. On arriving at St Pancreas, we jump onto another train and arrive in St Albans in time for lunch and a play with the little toddler Chloe! Soon, it is time to head back into London for some much craved Chinese dumplings with Bree before Tim's very first experience of Les Miserables live! Tim's verdict = "It was great - loved it!".

The next day we awake, saddened that it is the final day of the honeymoon. But, it's up and out of the house for lunch with Matt Jones at the Tate Modern. We originally planned to visit the Globe and take a ride on the London Eye but run out of time. We end up visiting the Borough Markets and wandering the streets around St Paul's. We top to listen to someone bang out the tunes on a street piano (check out the video below!). Then it's back to St Albans for one of Auntie Do's home cooked Indian meals (yyyuuuummmmmmm) before hitting the airport for the long journey home.

Wondering the streets of London

(Video) Enjoying the street pianos in London, just as we had in France!

Goodies at the Borough Market! If we hadn't just eaten I'd have gotten a Raclette cheese sandwich.

The final feast - it will be a while before I taste food this good again!
